Pentagon Row Ice Skating Gala to Benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation

PR Log (Press Release) – Jan 21, 2010 – WASHINGTON D.C (January 21, 2010)— Pentagon Row Ice Skating Rink will host its first annual Gala on Thursday, January 28th from 6pm – 8pm. The event will benefit The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (TCFF) and 50% of all skating proceeds and skate rental proceeds will benefit the TCFF.   In addition, TCFF will also be collecting cash donations at the event.

The Pentagon Row Ice Skating Gala will include a live performance by the popular urban folk rock group, Woodburn Road. In addition to live music, there will be ongoing entertainment throughout Pentagon Row provided by street performers including jugglers, stilt walkers, mimes, a human snow globe, and more to be announced.

Attendees will have a chance to register to win prizes throughout the evening and free giveaways will be available to everyone purchasing a skating pass between 6pm – 8pm. Merchant specials, including many restaurant specials throughout Pentagon Row, will be ongoing throughout the event, coupons will be available at the ice rink, and exclusive in-store promotions will be offered.   Please see the following page for a list of Pentagon Row promotions.

The Pentagon Row Ice Skating Gala is open to the public and is conveniently located in the Pentagon Row shopping center located off I-395 at the corner of Army Navy Drive and South Joyce Street in Arlington, Virginia. The Ice Skating Rink is open seasonally during winter months, November through March and from Sunday 10-10, Monday 12-10, Tuesday 12-10, Wednesday 12-10, Thursday 12-10, Friday 12-11 and Saturday 10-11, closing at 7 on Sundays and Thursdays for rentals.
